This is a very good mask that is hydrating with a cooling effect, but you have to be careful when you use it. I tried using this when I had red, itchy, flaky, barrier-damaged skin, and it made it worse due to the peppermint. Recently my skin barrier began recovering, it is still slightly red, but not as severe as it was before, and my skin tolerated this mask again. Now I know to use this mask only when my skin is slightly stressed, but not to the point of flaking and stinging. At that point, I would use something moisturizing and calming like their Herbal Youth products.
I get the worse redness and itching in Spring/Summer, these are so relieving for me. I have very sensitive skin and sinus issues but the pepperminmt is not a problem at all. its not cheap, but i am willing to pay for it because I did try some cheaper options and its just not the same.
seriously, if you're dying in the heat this year, this is a godsend. I keep these in my fridge and slap one on after my workout shower and it is SOOOOO good. Trust me, worth every cent. for winter, would opt for a mud or cream mask tho.
it's so hot outside right now and this was the BEST after my hockey tournament. I have some mild redness on the cheeks (probably from all my time in the sun) but this mask is just like a soothing aloe ice pack that's a lot more hydrating and long lasting. Also love the fact that the sheet is 100% cotton so its eco friendly.
this is my go to soothing treatment after my pico laser, my skin feels SO much better and recovers in a day, huge difference when using it and without it
